The college has one unit of NSS which was introduced in the session 2011-12. Every year from 100 to 110 students are enrolled in NSS on the basis of their interest in community service and marks in their lower examination. Apart from their study these enrolled students who are known as NSS volunteers engage themselves in the activities of social services and get a chance to understand the issues and challenges and also provide their assistance in solving the problems of the society. Throughout the session these NSS volunteers function according to the instructions issuesd by the DHE and Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra to which the college is affiliated. The volunteers participate in regular activities like celebration or observance of important days, spread of awareness about health and hygiene, cleanliness , drug de-addiction, water conservation, women empowerment, blood donation, national integration helping the old and the needy ones. The volunteers also participate in special camping programmes like Seven Day Special NSS Camp organised by the college unit in every session in nearby adopted village, special camps organised on university level, State level and National level and adventure camps also. By engaging themselves in these activities and programmes the volunteers get better opportunities of self development and learn to know the importance of democratic way of living. In this way they internalize the objective of the NSS i.e. personality development through community service.
