Essay Writing Competition and Paper Reading Contest

Essay Writing Competition and Paper Reading Contest were organized today i.e. 26/05/2025 by the Tagore Literary Society of Department of English under the directions and guidance of College Principal Dr. Sanjeev Kumar. The participating students expressed their thoughts on the topics i.e. Pleasures of Reading Books, Benefits of College Library, Aim in Life and Patriotism. The principal encouraged the students for participating in such programmes as such programmes help in developing the reading and speaking skills which further enhance one's ability to perform well in the competitive exams also. Mr. Ashok Bansal, Head of the Department of English also made the students aware of the usefulness of these competitions as these activities improve the self-confidence and communication skills of the students. The programme was organized in the observation of Mr. Rajbir, Convener, Tagore Literary Society and Dr. Ritu who also performed duty in judgement panal of the competitions. They also inspired the students to actively participate in such programmes for the betterment of one's overall development. On the occasion Ms. Rajni Goel, Asstt. Professor of Economics was also present to motivate the students.
